We are pretty easy to get along with here at Kallam Grove. The structure of our services and our music follows a tradition model, but we have a casual atmosphere. There is no dress code and there are no assigned seats.
If you are planning to visit our church for the first time, here are a couple of things to know: Parking is easy. Most of the spots are behind the church, but there are handicapped spots and visitor spots on either side of the front porch. (Handicap spaces are shaded blue and visitor spaces yellow in the accompanying aerial picture.) If you need it, there is an access ramp just to the right of the front porch. Most of our doors are unlocked before the service, but once the service begins, we do lock the doors. Even if you are a few minutes late, there will be someone standing just inside the front door to welcome you in.
Being a small country church, the front door brings you right into the sanctuary, so no need to worry about getting lost! (If you enter from the ramp, the sanctuary will be just on the left after you enter). We maintain a staffed nursery for infants and young children; if you wish to avail yourself of this service, just ask to be shown where the nursery is located.
One of our goals is for visitors to feel comfortable. Don’t let our traditional format intimidate you. Our goal is to be with God and with one another. We gather to hear scripture, to sing, and to pray. If these are things you are interested in, you can feel comfortable with us.
